KS1 & KS2 Teacher

I have recently gained my QTS and have trained across KS1 and had two placements in KS2. My current role includes Teaching, assessing, planning, marking and taking part in extra curricular activities

I love witnessing the light bulb moments for children, when they finally grasp a concept or make a discovery for themselves. It highlights how powerful teachers can be and starts a passion for children.

As a child, I struggled with some aspects of learning and benefitted from a black teacher and tutor in KS2. I understand the importance of having someone that takes the time to understand your specific needs, understands you culturally as well as academically. Building up future generations is key and I want to be part of that.
