I am currently working from home as an online tutor.

I provide 1:1 tutoring to KS1 and KS2 pupils who need additional support or to extend their learning. I consult with parents on how to access additional support for their children in mainstream school and have supported parents to apply for the EHCP.I support my students to develop a growth mindset, to develop positive self esteem and to take ownership in their learning.

I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2010. I enjoy teaching English and Maths to primary aged children. I have a love for teaching phonics and enjoy the journey of supporting young children in their early acquisition of reading.

I come from a restorative justice background. Having worked with children at risk of exclusion, I trained as a teacher in order to make a difference from within the system. Supporting colleagues to identify and gradually modify their racial bias. I have experience of teaching students in the Early Years, KS1 and KS2 across the London boroughs. I moved to the Midlands with my husband and children in 2015 and have taught in Walsall and Birmingham.

As a personal tutor I now meet students with different learning styles and from different learning backgrounds- including home-educated children.

I enjoy supporting students to realise their full potential, focusing on and developing a growth mindset. Starting from this premise it enables my students to have an "I can" attitude particularly when the learning put in place aims to challenge them.

All of my tutoring sessions take place online. I welcome tutees from all over the UK and beyond to get in touch.
